Precision Imagery for every moment.

Hi, I’m Paul. I founded Peak Wilderness Photography after serving over 25 years in the RAF as an Aircraft Engineer. That experience gave me a steadfast reliability and a commitment to producing high-precision work in any environment. Working under intense pressure in extreme conditions—from harsh deserts to the Arctic—instilled in me a finely tuned work ethic designed to deliver exacting results.

No matter what your photography needs are, my goal is to deliver to the very high standards I set for myself.

Why Peak Wilderness? My passion for photography grew naturally out of my love for the great outdoors. Having spent much of my life hiking, camping, mountaineering, cycling, and running, I’ve witnessed extraordinary sights, but for a long time, I had no way to truly capture them.

While competing in the Winter Spine Race—running the entire 268-mile length of the Pennine Way in four days—I realised I managed to miss being photographed by most of the event's photographers. Memories can fade, but photographs keep the story alive for years to come. That inspired me to pick up a camera, learn the craft, and practice endlessly.

I haven’t put the camera down since, and I remain dedicated to creating the very best images possible.

Adaptability is my strength, and I thrive when challenged. Whether you need landscapes, nature, macro, portraits, commercial work, or a new LinkedIn headshot, I am ready to accept the challenge and deliver.
